BIO PLANET TMC Ltd has developed a certified regenerative granulated organic fertilizer designed to regenerate soils, protect crops, and replace synthetic fertilizers through a fully circular and climate-smart process. Produced entirely from biodegradable waste, this innovation reflects BIO PLANET’s vision of transforming waste into life, productivity, and resilience. The organic fertilizer combines pest-repelling plant extracts, beneficial microorganisms, and nutrient-rich organic matter to create a multi-functional product that nourishes soils, strengthens plant immunity, and promotes the production of nutritious food. Characterized by its fine texture, brown color, and uniform three-millimeter granules, the product is completely safe for users and ecosystems. It contains essential macronutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, as well as micronutrients including sulfur, zinc, iron, calcium, and natural vitamins that enrich the soil and enhance crop quality.
Unlike conventional fertilizers that degrade soil health, acidify land, and harm microbial biodiversity, our organic fertilizer rebuilds fertility naturally. Each granule delivers three benefits in one: pest control, nutrient enrichment, and soil regeneration. Its slow-release mechanism provides nutrients gradually, strengthens soil structure, increases organic carbon, and supports living microorganisms that enhance plant resilience. This approach reduces nutrient loss, prevents salinization, and minimizes groundwater pollution. With integrated pest-control properties derived from botanical actives and beneficial microbes, farmers can protect their crops while reducing dependency on chemical pesticides.
Packaged in biodegradable 50 kg bags, the organic fertilizer is two times cheaper than conventional synthetic fertilizers, making it both accessible and scalable. It is available for individual farmers, women and indigenous cooperatives, NGOs, and agro-dealers, ensuring adaptability to diverse agricultural systems across Benin and West Africa. Field trials and laboratory analyses conducted with smallholder farmers have validated its consistency, quality, and measurable impact. On average, farmers using BIO PLANET’s organic fertilizer report yield increases up to 45 percent, reductions in pest damage by 65 percent, and improvements in soil organic carbon by more than 50 percent after continuous use.
The dry, odor-free granules are easy to apply, store, and transport, offering greater convenience and cost efficiency. Their uniform shape ensures even nutrient distribution across farmlands, maintaining consistent fertility and boosting productivity for crops such as cereals, legumes, roots and tubers, fruits, vegetables, oil palms, orange trees, and mango trees.

Our goal is to equip over 5,000 women and indigenous farmers by 2030 with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to restore degraded lands and strengthen their communities.

Farmers receive practical guidance in organic and climate-smart agricultural techniques that rebuild soil fertility, increase yields, and reduce dependence on chemical inputs. Beyond the environmental impact, BIO PLANET TMC is deeply committed to defending the rights of rural women and advancing gender equity in agriculture.
