Manager in Solidarity Economy and Social Governance, specialist in Social and Solidarity Economy (ESS) and social entrepreneurship, Elisée has skills and experience in project and organizational management, supporting employability and entrepreneurship; in group animation, collective and individual coaching after having worked in digital transformation projects, in diverse institutions and campaigning in associations for more than 08 years.
Since 2015, through several university initiatives, Elisée has passionately supported, trained and coached students of University of Abomey-Calavi in Benin Republic and young graduates to implement their community initiatives; supports them in finding their first internship/job and in launching and developing start-ups/companies. He learned to listen, communicate and establish relationship of trust with students and himself, while stimulating the spirit of creativity and innovation in the young people he supports. He previously held the functions of project manager, facilitator, employment coach and advisor in business creation and development at the Social Innovation Laboratory of Benin (LABIS Porto Novo) and within the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program at University of Abomey Calavi. Elisée led teams of facilitators and trainers to carry out activities aimed at developing the skills for employability, entrepreneurship and civic engagement of thousands young men and women with a focus on the rural women empowerment.
Ecosystem builder and expert in Digital Economy, he has co-initiated and piloted since 2022 the Digital Women Heroes project, a training school for digital professions which has integrated into its system a competition for innovation and female digital entrepreneurship. The program aims to offer Beninese women the skills allowing them not only to become designers of digital solutions, but also entrepreneurs and leaders who transform their ideas into value-added businesses that impact their respective communities. In summary, this project works to improve the employability of young Beninese women in digital technology while meeting skills need of Benin's entrepreneurial ecosystem. Vice President (#HeForShe) of the Women In Tech Benin Community, Elisée is one of these men who work alongside women to help reduce gender inequality in digital technology in Benin and Africa, by building an influential and diverse range of actors and actresses from digital and entrepreneurship work towards better representation of girls women in digital technology to succeed.
Further, Elisée co-founded Envol in 2019, a third place and co-working space, tech space, an incubator dedicated to the ESS and female digital entrepreneurship. Since 2019, Envol has been working with social entrepreneurs, ESS and tech players to contribute to the creation of a fairer, more inclusive and sustainable Africa, where technology and social innovations are used to improve quality of life for all. As a young committed French speaker, he is currently the Secretary-General of the Francophone International Youth Network (RIJF).
Very committed to supporting rural women empowerment and eco-friendly initiatives in Benin Republic, he serves as Business Advisor at BIO PLANET TMC Ltd.
