Maurice is a certified independent leadership and entrepreneurship coach, trainer mentor and public speaker with Resolution Project, heifer international and Youth alive in Uganda. As a graduate of Development Studies with honours at Muteesa I royal university, he is highly dedicated, resourceful, a community development actor, researcher and a professional mental and depression health therapist (IPT-G) with Strong Minds Uganda for over 3 years with extensive knowledge and experience in institutional development for organizations and cooperatives. He plays great part in value chain development, stakeholder engagement, access to finance linkages, public and private sector partnerships, data collection, establishment and management of rural village savings and loans associations groups for both youth and old people, and Livelihood initiative programs, advocacy, Women & youth economic empowerment and health programs.

Over the last 8 years, he has empowered several rural communities in Uganda to attain self-reliance through holistic community led development approaches organized in community-based organizations. Maurice is an obedient, dependable and self-motivated individual and strongly believes in communities taking a leading role in generating solutions to their development challenges.

In addition to his work in communities development in Uganda, he is CEO at Developing Minds Group Ggangu, a non government  organization that is more in savings entrepreneurship and business development in youth and young rural women and through it he has won a lot of awards for humanitarian and environmental activities.

Maurice became BIO PLANET TMC Ltd Advisor in 2022 as part of the Resolution Project Fellowship. His professional experience constitutes a foundation allowing BIO PLANET TMC team to broaden their social impact.
