Pest control granulated organic fertilizer

Made of biodegradable waste, our high-quality, pest control granulated organic fertilizer is characterized by fine texture, 3mm in diameter, brown color, safe for users and the environment. The product is one hundred percent (100%) eco-friendly and composed of major fertilizing elements such as nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium on the one hand and of trace elements such as sulfur, iron, zinc, calcium and vitamins…, on the other hand. It has anti-parasitic properties. This characteristic remains crucial in West African regions where pests can cause enormous damages to crops. The product is packaged in biodegradable bags of 50kg and labeled, more accessible (cheaper cost) than traditionally used fertilizers for farmlands restoration and increased yields to combat desertification and food insecurity in Benin Republic, and West Africa.

Our product is unique. Compared with powdered organic fertilizers from competitors, our organic fertilizer is in granules, with tremendous advantages:

  • Easy-to-use: our granulated organic fertilizer is formed into small, uniform granules for easy handling, storage, and application. Dry granules are also odor-free. The offensive smell associated with raw manure is mitigated in our production process;
  • Convenient storage: our dry granules can be stored and used when needed. It can be stored on farms and are much less costly to transport, allowing small-scale farmers to save money for other agricultural purposes;
  • Increasing crop yields: as the granules dissolve, they provide a prolonged supply of nutrients to plants, maximizing their yields.

Additionally, our product reduces soil and groundwater pollution from harmful chemicals. For example, by substituting over 200 tons of synthetic fertilizers with our organic fertilizer annually in Pobè, Benin Republic, we mitigate the environmental impact of food production. We support sustainable agricultural practices by encouraging the use of our organic fertilizer, which promotes soil health and biodiversity. By collaborating with women and indigenous small-scale farmers to advocate for sustainability, we contribute to ecosystem preservation and reduce the reliance on chemical fertilizers in agriculture.

We produce a versatile organic fertilizer, that restores farmlands efficiently, increases water retention and carbon sequestration capacity for soil up to 57% each, applicable for cereals, legumes, roots and tubes, fruits and vegetables, oil palms, with specific measures, given that each food product has its specific fertilizer dose requirements. It is regenerative of farmlands and any grown plant needs it to provide quality yield. We guide farmers in this process by offering practical training, to enable them to master climate-friendly agricultural practices, and apply our product efficiently to crops. We aim to produce and distribute over 60,000 tons of high-quality granulated organic fertilizer across Benin Republic, and West Africa by 2030.
