Christian Adoh is a passionate social entrepreneur and environmental advocate with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in sustainable agriculture, agribusiness innovation, and circular economy leadership. He holds a Diploma in Tropical Agricultural Studies with Honours and Senior Technician credentials in Agricultural Engineering and Environmental Management, with proven expertise in organic fertilizer formulation, soil restoration, and sustainable crop production systems.

As the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of BIO PLANET TMC Ltd, Christian leads a visionary green enterprise that transforms biodegradable waste into pest-control granulated organic fertilizer, while providing access to sustainable-farming training opportunities. In his role as Co-Founder, he oversees strategic leadership, innovation development, partnership building, and the implementation of large-scale land restoration and farmer-empowerment programs. Under his leadership, BIO PLANET TMC has empowered thousands of women and indigenous small-scale farmers in Benin, helping to regenerate degraded farmlands, improve soil fertility, and increase yields to strengthen food security in rural communities.

Christian is a Mandela Washington Fellowship Alumnus, having completed the Leadership in Business track at Alabama Agricultural and Mechanical University’s School of Business in the United States. This prestigious program enhanced his strategic leadership, innovation management, and entrepreneurial capacity, connecting him with a global network of partners and investors supporting BIO PLANET TMC’s expansion. He is also pursuing a Diploma in Social Innovation at the United Nations–mandated University for Peace, strengthening his ability to design and scale sustainable solutions for rural livelihoods across Benin and Africa.

In 2025, Christian represented BIO PLANET TMC as a Speaker at the FAO World Food Forum in Rome, where he championed youth-driven innovation and community-based agricultural transformation during the Startup Innovation Awards. He also showcased BIO PLANET TMC’s scalable model at the ChangeNOW Summit 2025 in Paris, France, and at the UNCCD COP16 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia in 2024, where he highlighted the company’s work in land restoration and climate resilience.

Christian’s leadership and innovation have been widely recognized. He received the Innovative Project Prize from the West African Economic and Monetary Union’s Banking Fair (SBPME-UEMOA, 2023), was named among the Top 10 African Social Innovators in the 2024 LEAP Africa Social Innovators Programme, and ranked among the Top 10 Entrepreneurs in the Global AgriFood TechPreneur Programme in 2023. He was also a fully sponsored Speaker at the 2024 West Africa Deal Summit in Lagos, where he engaged with investors advancing sustainable agribusiness ventures across the region.

A Fellow and Alumnus of globally recognized organizations including The Mastercard Foundation, The Resolution Project, LEAP Africa, The Aspire Institute, The Millennium Campus Network, and The Young African Leaders Initiative, Christian embodies transformational leadership and cross-sector collaboration. He has mentored more than 500 young entrepreneurs through initiatives such as the Jim Leech Mastercard Foundation Fellowship on Entrepreneurship, inspiring the next generation of African changemakers.

Earlier in his journey, Christian served as Campus Director for the Millennium Fellowship Programme at the University of Abomey-Calavi, where he guided 22 fellows in project design and community leadership. He also contributed to the Sahel Women’s Empowerment and Demographic Dividend Project, advancing girls’ education, gender equality, and economic empowerment for rural women in Benin.

Motivated by a deep commitment to social justice, environmental sustainability, and inclusive growth, Christian envisions BIO PLANET TMC Ltd restoring 500,000 hectares of farmland, creating 2,100 green jobs for women and youth, and providing access to nutritious food for 10 million people across West Africa by 2030. His journey reflects the power of innovation, leadership, and purpose to regenerate both the planet and livelihoods.
